IATA's first consumer-oriented Internet project
I am proud to announce that at the beginning of January 2008 the Dutch department of IATA (IATA Netherlands BV), where I work, has launched IATA's first consumer-oriented Internet project called IATA Travel Centre. This website represents an interface to Timatic, IATA's global travel information system used by huge amount of travel agencies, airlines, etc. across the globe. It was built with the latest technologies in mind.
Technically speaking, if you are willing to create some sort of software solution in which you would like to be able to inform the users about certain travel rules and regulations, you should become a member of Timatic (in fact Timatic 3.0, the newest version).
